Sergio Aguero returns to training ahead of West ham clash

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has returned to work on Monday after spending an eventful week long holiday in Miami, that was headlined with his meeting with singer Marc Anthony as well as his visit to the Grand House Burger.

The 30-year-old, who hasn't been involved with the Argentina squad since the World Cup, seemed fully focused as he trained under the watchful eye of manager Pep Guardiola.

The striker looked already prepared for City's trip to face West Ham on Saturday, however, Guardiola was without a host of experienced players during the session as a result of international engagements.

David Silva, Fernandinho, Ilkay Gundogan and Aymeric Laporte all trained as City commenced their preparations for their next Premier League game.

There were some talented youngsters involved in the session, too, with Brahim Diaz being joined by midfielders Tom Dele-Bashiru and Iker Pozo and well as defender Eric Garcia.

City have some injury issues to contend with as Bernardo Silva is doubtful for their weekend trip to the London Olympics Stadium after suffering a muscular problem while on international duty with Portugal.

Meanwhile, Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne is expected to return this week having spent the last few weeks out with a knee injury, while Benjamin Mendy will face another lengthy spell on the sidelines following a successful operation performed to his left injured knee.

Nevertheless, Guardiola still has a very strong squad to choose from, and will prepare his side for an expected victory over West Ham as City aim to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
